This little ball in a cage was a quick test, hence the (easy to carve but for the rest crappy) balsa wood. As it now turns out i'm not gonna use it in the design i'm working on, it is just a little joke :)
CONGRATULATIONS, YOU LADY! SHE IS BEAUTIFUL OBJECTS. I HAVE RECENTLY DISCOVERED THE BLOG. I HOPE TO BE ABLE TO BUY SOMETHING DONE IN THE FUTURE FROM THE HANDS OF FAIRY.
Hi Debora What a clever lady you are. However did you manage that? Its almost like "which came first, the cage or the ball?" Im currently working on where I can display your tusk in my Library - please dont think I have forgotten about it. Best wishes Simon
Sweet Simon, Please don't you worry, I'm not the assuming type.... It is ours to keep and do with it as you like. It would make me feel proud though, if it was on display in your grand house :))) Have a great day
Glad you like it all, i wish i could share the thrill of releasing the ball while cutting the tiny flakes of wood away. No pics of that unfortunately.... The moment it started to move my heart jumped. Now be careful and just take little steps I said to myself. Take caution and care, and restrain yourself! Cos before it could roll in its cage it needed to be gently moved around & shaped.
btw I've shut down Bloggers word verification; I don't know bout you but it really drives me mad!!! Each time I want to leave a comment somewhere I have to generate it at least 3 or 4 times before i can make out what it wants me to type... ARGH! It could my eyes are loosing it, but I don't want you all to go through it so i shut it off! I'll just take the risk of spam :)
This is funny. I've not seen miniatures like that since some of the microscopic miniatures that Mott's Miniatures used to have on display at Knott's Berry Farm many years ago. check out my dollhouse miniatures for everyone
зато выглядит симпатично и оригинально..)))
