I have been wondering how to pack my mini's for travel, now why did I never think of this???Thanks Debora!
Your welcome!! I thought of making them out of wood... the ones Niels made looked so nice! But I'm a bookbinder too, and have everything i need to (know) make this type of boxes. I made the green one earlier last year. Thought it would be best if I keep the theme going, if you know what I mean ;) Good luck on yours! Your precious creations deserve to travel safe. Really safe!
Well, I will probably just buy boxes, no time to make them, but you get very nice ones here at the craft and packaging stores, wood will get too heavy for all I have to take.
Jewelry boxes, to save the true jewels that your job is.
Lovely boxes, worth of your wonderfull pieces!
Ieder detail is àf. Ja, daar hou ik van!
Where are you taking them Debora, are you selling them, they are treasures indeed, if I win lotto I will buy one, hehe!
These are fabulous!
Those of you that have an Etsy shop or sell things on a regular basis, must run into this same problem, no? How to pack your work in such a way that the Postal Services won't damage all your hard work? I feel the best thing to do is to be over-protective. Cos they are not half as considerate as we love them to be... :((
Your work and blog are beautiful. It takes a certain kind of intelligence to work with wood the way you do...just lovely.Lucy
Thanks Lucy, that's a very kind and intelligent comment ;-) cos yah, it could seem easy but there is some figuring out to do. Keep up your great work, i admire anyone who can work threads as small as you do!
